The draw for the Scottish League Cup last 16 was made and here it is.

Annan Athletic v Aberdeen
Heart of Midlothian v Kilmarnock
Ross County v Celtic
Ties will be played on 30 and 31 August.
Now that the group stages are finished then the Scottish clubs in Europe enter the competition. These are Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Dundee United and Motherwell.
In a slight twist three teams from the SPL did not make it through the group stages – St Johnstone, St Mirren and most surprisingly Hibs which left some interesting fixtures especially with Annan topping a group.
The obvious ties of the round ar e the all Premier league clashes

My tie of the round is probably the bottom one although as always the Old Firm will be favourites to progress – Rangers in particular landing the potentially ‘easy’ home tie.
